Treasury's TIC system reports holdings of US Treasury bills, notes and bonds by residents of each country at the end of each month. Treasury revises earlier months each year after its annual survey; this page shows the figures as Treasury publishes them now.

What this number cannot tell you
  • Holdings are attributed to the country of the holder or of its custodian, so a country's figure can include securities that residents of other countries own.
