What the quarterly refunding is

Each quarter Treasury announces how it plans to borrow: the financing estimates on the Monday, then the refunding statement on the Wednesday, with the sizes of the coming note and bond auctions, the tentative auction and buyback schedules, and the advice of the Treasury Borrowing Advisory Committee. This page lists the documents of the third quarter of 2026 as Treasury's page lists them; the committee's own material is linked, not reproduced.
