In the week ending , insiders at 245 companies filed 696 purchases (code P) worth $1.5 billion, and insiders at 511 companies filed 2,216 sales (code S) worth $10.8 billion.

The purchases are 696 lines of the reports and the sales 2,216. The week ends on .

Lines with no value

44 lines have no price or a price of zero, and 1 line has a value over two billion dollars. They are in the counts above and not in the dollars.

As filed

Facts as filed with the SEC, and our arithmetic on them. A purchase or a sale says what an insider did, not why. Not investment advice.

A trade is placed by the day its report was filed with the SEC, so a week or a month holds the reports filed in it; each line also shows the day of the trade.

Understanding the week

Where it stands today

Insiders filed purchases (code P) worth $1.53B and sales (code S) worth $10.8B in the week of 9 March 2026.

How is the week made?

Insiders are the officers and directors of a company and the owners of more than ten percent of its shares. They report each trade of the company's shares to the SEC on a Form 4, due within two business days.

A purchase (code P) is an open market or private purchase and a sale (code S) an open market or private sale. Grants, awards, exercises of options, gifts and shares withheld for tax have other codes and are not counted. Only the first Form 4 of a trade counts: an amended report, an initial statement of holdings and an annual statement are not read.

The value of a line is its shares times its price per share, in dollars. A line with no price, or a price of zero, counts in the counts and not in the dollar sums. So does a line whose value is over two billion dollars: it is left out of the sums and of the largest lists by rule, because values this large are mostly entry errors in the report. A week or a month appears only when every day's filings in it have been read.

What this number cannot tell you

  • Insiders are the officers and directors of a company and the owners of more than ten percent of its shares. They report each trade of the company's shares to the SEC on a Form 4, due within two business days.
  • A purchase (code P) is an open market or private purchase and a sale (code S) an open market or private sale. Grants, awards, exercises of options, gifts and shares withheld for tax have other codes and are not counted.
  • Only the first Form 4 of a trade counts: an amended report, an initial statement of holdings and an annual statement are not read.
  • A trade is placed by the day its report was filed with the SEC, so a week or a month holds the reports filed in it; each line also shows the day of the trade.
  • The value of a line is its shares times its price per share, in dollars. A line with no price, or a price of zero, counts in the counts and not in the dollar sums. So does a line whose value is over two billion dollars: it is left out of the sums and of the largest lists by rule, because values this large are mostly entry errors in the report.
  • A week or a month appears only when every day's filings in it have been read.
  • A company name that is a link is a company that has a page here. Any other name is text.
