What this number cannot tell you
- A bushel of corn is 56 pounds.
- The price is the National Agricultural Statistics Service's monthly estimate for the whole United States. Prices differ by state, by grade and from day to day, and NASS revises an estimate in later months; this page shows the newest figures.
- NASS leaves a month out when it has too few reports to make an estimate, and the chart then shows a gap.
- The changes, the ranks and the highest and lowest values are ours, worked out from the values NASS publishes; a change is in percent.
- This product uses the NASS API but is not endorsed or certified by NASS.
